This new design heat shield for the JLT 2007-09 GT500 intake kit is more of a surround type shield made of ABS plastic with a built in support that allows for a easier install. This is included with the Carbon Fiber JLT CAI kit(#CAI-GT500-0709) as of 2/1/08 and will work on MOST older JLT GT500 kits.
