GM High-Tech - Fastest 2010 Chevy Camaros

Currently the quickest and fastest in the country, the Fastlane 2010 Camaro proves that a well thought out single turbo combination is always hard to beat. Starting with the ZL1 Turbo kit, which includes a top-mounted Borg Warner 72mm turbocharger, Fastlane has concentrated on making a ton of power using the stock LS3, a plan that seems to be paying off. In an unusual twist, Fastlane has decided to use a manual LS3, which makes it not only the fastest overall 2010, but also the fastest 6-speed on the list.

Truckin - 2008 Chevy Silverado - Life In The Fast Lane

Chevrolet whet the palettes of million of gear heads with the unveiling of their 427 SS Silverado concept truck at the 2006 SEMA show. The stylish sport truck boasted a roaring 7.0L LS7 engine, easily identifiable body styling, 22-inch chrome SS wheels, and an intimidating factory lowered suspension. What's not to love about that impressive lineup? The heavy Bow Tie hauler had everything a truck enthusiast could ever want in an off-the-lot truck except for one minute catch—the 427 SS Silverado never went into production. The truck's absence from the showroom floor was a definite blow to those looking to secure themselves a big hunk of American muscle, but luckily Fastlane, Inc. of Houston, is taking over where GM left off. Fastlane's Nick Field starting receiving some calls asking about performance mods to Chevy's popular fullsize, Nick decided to take Chevy’s concept truck idea and turn into a real tire-roasting ride. The problem was gathering all of the needed parts, buying a donor truck, and getting to the fun stuff. The Fastlane crew pulled it off and what started out as a "what-if?" idea, turned into a Silverado that does everything well, especially go fast...

GM High-Tech - 2007 Chevy Trailblazer SS - Mover And Shaker

We're not exactly sure what's in the Houston water supply, but we're relatively positive they should bottle it up and sell it as an energy drink. It seems like every month we feature another sick LSx car from this area, almost always in the 9s and almost always one of the fastest in the country. It should come as no surprise then that this is yet another monster, though unlike the other H-town animals-this one has the size to go with its demeanor. Owner Holloway Houston and builder Nick Field of Fastlane Turbo chose a two-wheel-drive Trailblazer SS as the platform to build a single-turbo LSX that runs 9.89 at 142 mph. Did we mention it can pull the front tires, weighs in at over 5,000 pounds, and is the second-fastest Trailblazer SS in the country?....
5.0 - Mustang & Super Fords Features Fastlane's Prototype Twin Turbo Saleen

Nick Field and Rick Ford started Fastlane in October 2004, but their supercar roots stretch back a couple of decades in the drag-racing arena. Nick owned a shop called Street Performance from 1993 to 2001. From 2001 to 2004, "Rick and I built and raced Dodge Vipers," Nick says. "The Saleen was our first twin turbo. It started out as a bet. The car's first owner was a collector named Mike Baas. He'd had every car in the world. The Saleen was his lowest-priced car. He wanted me to put a blower on it. Instead, we wanted to do something way out there. So, he made a bet with us we couldn't come up with our own twin-turbo kit in 30 days."
