After extensive dyno and track testing, SLP has come up with what we feel to be the best matched LS1/LS2 valvetrain component. These parts can be used with other brands of camshafts but you must verify spring coil bind and retainer-to-valve-guide interference.

LS1 Valve Keepers

Whenever you change valve springs or disassemble your LS1/LS2 cylinder heads you should change the valve keepers. These inexpensive little items should be considered "cheap insurance" for your engine. SLP offers OEM quality keepers designed to work with our chrome moly or stock retainers.
