Beware, muscle cars fans, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro built by the famous tuner shop Fastlanewill tear the road. Fastlane Creates One Carnal Camaro
Houston (April 2013)—What happens when you take a 1969 Camaro and add Fastlane’s peerless engineering? You get one beast of a street rod.
Fastlane’s newest muscle car offering is a 1969 Camaro, which features a top of the line 427 LSX engine, a Twin Turbo Kit, and a T56 magnum transmission. All this muscle generates more than 1000rwhp. Today’s strongest muscle cars, the Shelby GT 500 and the ZL1 Camaro only put out 662hp and 580hp, respectively.
“This is one of the fastest street legal ’69s you can get,” said Fastlane Co-Founder Nick Field. “We built it for speed, plain and simple. We expect to run it at the Texas mile next year and other top speed events and show people that with modern parts and classic cars we can blow today’s muscle cars out of the water.”
